Chevrolet Aveo details:
The 2011 Chevrolet Aveo is a decent and inexpensive subcompact, but that's not enough in the face of better performing, more functional competitors that are more enjoyable to drive and own. Chevrolet Aveo Hatchback offers the following pros: Low price; high fuel efficiency; ample headroom. Chevrolet Aveo Hatchback drawbacks are: Weak engine; sluggish highway manners; middling crash test scores.
The 2011 Chevrolet Aveo is available as either a sedan or a 4-door hatchback, dubbed the Chevrolet Aveo5. Both body styles can seat five passengers and are provided in three versions: base LS, midgrade 1LT and top-of-the-line 2LT.
In base LS trim, the Chevrolet Aveo is sparingly equipped with 14-inch metal wheels, cloth upholstery, a tilt-only helm, Onstar (with 6 months of complimentary Directions and Connections plan) and a four-speaker AM/FM audio with an optional input slot. Stepping up to the 1LT trim level adds air-conditioning and an updated six-speaker stereo system with a CD/MP3 player. Features for the 1LT include remote keyless entry, performance windows and door locks, cruise control and radio.
The 2LT contains the 1lt's auxillary equipment along with 15-inch wheels, foglamps, a trip computer, updated cloth upholstery, heated performance sideview mirrors and steering-wheel-mounted stereo controls. The Chevrolet Aveo5 hatchback in 2LT form also comes with a back spoiler. Available features for the 2LT models include a sunroof, perforated leatherette (vinyl) seatings, a leather-wrapped helm and Bluetooth (which is also auxillary on 1LT Chevrolet Aveos).
