Chevrolet Cruze details:
Put the preconceived notions to bed, because Chevrolet finally has a class small vehicle in the form of the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. Chevrolet Cruze Sedan offers the following pros: Upscale dashboard design; lively yet efficient turbocharged engine; Eco model's high fuel efficiency; safe handling; top security scores; large cargo. Chevrolet Cruze Sedan drawbacks are: Six-speed automatic's sleepy responses; narrow front seats; low back bench cushion.

The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze is a small sedan that comes in four main versions: LS, Eco, LT and LTZ.

The LS contains 16-inch metal wheels, Onstar, a tilt-and-telescoping helm, air-conditioning, a six-way (manual) adjustable driver bench, a 60/40-split back bench, a trip computer, full performance accessories and a six-speaker audio with a CD/MP3 player, radio and an optional stereo slot. A Connectivity suite adds Bluetooth, a USB port and steering-wheel-mounted stereo controls.

The Eco is equipped similarly to the LS but is optimized for maximum fuel economy with aerodynamic enhancments, lightweight alloy wheels, low-rolling-resistance tires, a smaller fuel tank and a few minor option deletions to further reduce weight.

The LT actually comprises 1LT and 2LT subsets. The 1LT comes with a turbocharged motor, cruise control, color-keyed performance outside mirrors, a leather-wrapped helm and the contents of the Connectivity suite.

The 2LT differentiates itself with 16-inch alloy wheels, remote car start, cruise control, a sport-tuned suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, leather upholstery, heated front seatings and a six-way performance driver bench. The Chevrolet Cruze LTZ adds 18-inch alloy wheels, back park assist, keyless ignition and entry, automatic conditioning, luxury dashboard trim and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Many of the traditional features found in the upper versions also can be had on lower trims as features. A hard-drive-based navigation system, a Pioneer nine-speaker luxury audio system, a sunroof and an RS look suite (unique front/rear fascias, foglights, back spoiler) are all available on the upper trims. .
