Chevrolet Impala details:
Despite a roomy cab and convenient ride, the 2012 Chevrolet Impala is outdone by most rivals. You can do better. Chevrolet Impala Sedan offers the following pros: Easy controls; available six-passenger seating; big trunk; strong and efficient motor. Chevrolet Impala Sedan drawbacks are: Affordable dashboard materials and construction; lackluster handling; bland styling; generally outpaced by the competition in most respects.

The 2012 Chevy Chevrolet Impala is a full-size 4-door sedan provided in three versions: LS, LT and LTZ. Seating for five people is traditional, but an auxillary front seat bench provided on LS and LT models bumps passenger capacity to six.

Traditional features on the entry-level LS include 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, keyless entry, cruise control, full performance accessories, air-conditioning, a six-way performance driver bench, a tilt-only leather-wrapped helm, Onstar, Bluetooth and a six-speaker audio system with a CD player, radio and an optional stereo slot.

Stepping up to the LT gets you 17-inch alloy wheels, a back spoiler, remote ignition, dual-zone manual conditioning, a folding back bench, a back center armrest, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and a trip computer with compass and outside temperature screen.

The top-of-the-line LTZ adds 18-inch alloy wheels, foglamps, heated mirrors, leather upholstery, heated performance front seatings (eight-way driver, six-way passenger), an auto-dimming rearview mirror and an eight-speaker Bose luxury stereo system.

A sunroof is available on the LT and LTZ. .
