Hyundai Genesis details:
With handsome look-and-feel, generous luxury features and motor performance to match, the 2012 Hyundai Genesis takes its rightful place among established luxury sedan competitors. Hyundai Genesis 5. 0R-spec offers the following pros: Convenient ride in non R-spec models; smooth and comprehensive engines; premium cabin; generous warranty coverage; sensational Lexicon audio system. Hyundai Genesis 5. 0R-spec drawbacks are: Missing all-wheel-drive option; back bench does not fold down; badge lacks cachet; rough ride in R-spec.
The 2012 Hyundai Genesis is a full-size, rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan available in 3. 8, 4. 6 and 5. 0R-spec versions (the numbers denote motor displacement).
The Hyundai Genesis 3. 8 comes traditional with 17-inch wheels, automatic headlights, foglights, heated mirrors, a sunroof, keyless ignition/entry, cruise control, dual-zone automatic conditioning, an eight-way performance driver bench (includes performance lumbar), a four-way performance passenger bench, heated front seatings, leather upholstery, a tilt helm, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, Bluetooth and a seven-speaker audio system with CD player, radio, optional stereo slot and an iPod/usb slot.
The Luxury suite adds 18-inch wheels, a sunroof, automatic wipers, power-folding side mirrors, a performance tilt-and-telescoping helm, leather dashboard and door trim, driver memory functions, a performance back sunshade, a rearview camera, a navigator with real-time traffic, a 7-inch touchscreen interface and a 14-speaker Lexicon surround-sound system with a CD/DVD player.
The Technology suite adds or supplements Luxury suite equipment with adaptive HID headlights, front and back parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, a lane-departure warning system, an electronic parking brake, updated leather upholstery, a ventilated driver bench, heated back seatings, an improved Bluetooth system, a rotary-knob based multimedia interface with 8-inch screen, and a 17-speaker Lexicon stereo system with HD radio and an in-dash Six-cd/dvd changer.
The Hyundai Genesis 4. 6 contains Luxury and Technology features as traditional equipment but substitutes a wood-trimmed helm for a leather-wrapped piece. The Hyundai Genesis 5. 0R-spec incorporates all Luxury and Technology suite features, plus 19-inch wheels and sport-tuned transmission, suspension and steering. High-performance summer tires are auxillary on the R-spec. .
