The 2012 Infiniti M is a midsize luxury sedan available in three versions: Infiniti M37, Infiniti M35h and Infiniti M56.
Traditional on the Infiniti M37 are 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic bi-xenon headlights, foglights, power-folding heated mirrors, automatic wipers, a sunroof, keyless ignition/entry, dual-zone automatic conditioning, leather upholstery, heated eight-way performance front seatings, performance lumbar support, driver memory functions, a performance tilt-and-telescoping steering column and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Also traditional are a rearview camera, Bluetooth and a six-speaker audio with a CD player, optional audio/visual slot, an Ipod interface and radio.
The Infiniti M56 adds a navigator, real-time traffic/weather upgrades, voice recognition, heated and ventilated front seatings, a heated helm and a Bose 10-speaker luxury stereo system with digital audio cargo.
With the Infiniti M35h, you get all the traditional features provided with the Infiniti M37, along with a hybrid powertrain, regenerative braking and original instrument meters and screen diplays. You also get Infiniti's Car Audio for Pedestrians (VSP), which compensates for the silent electric motor by generating a range of distinctive sounds developed to alert other road users to the car's presence.
Both the Infiniti M37 and Infiniti M35h are available with a Luxury suite that adds heated and ventilated front seatings, a heated helm, a navigator (with voice control, real-time traffic and real-time weather) and a 10-speaker Bose audio with streaming Bluetooth stereo and digital audio cargo. Consumers who select the Infiniti M's Technology suite get adaptive cruise control, a lane departure warning and prevention system, a blind-spot warning system, a forward collision warning system, adaptive headlights and the "eco pedal" that offers feedback to the driver to encourage economical driving. .
