Seat Altea details:
The Seat Altea XL is developed to be the sporty-looking alternative to a family estate. The front end boasts a new layout grille with a chrome surround and larger headlights. But the main differences between the XL and traditional Seat Altea are focused at the back, with its split tail lights and traditional roof rails.

The XL boats an extra 123 litres of dashboard room (up from 409 to 532 litres) and is 18. 7cm longer than the traditional Seat Altea. Seat claims it provides more front headroom than any other vehicle in its class. The back seatings can be split and folded or slid forward and rear to give more legroom or increased boot room depending on requirements, but they don't fold into the floor. It features a lot of of cargo room, including large door bins, a big glovebox and cupholders. It's tall, so visibility is good but the windscreen cornerstones are a blind spot nightmare.

As you would expect from a Seat, the Seat Altea XL comes well-equipped. There are three versions: S, SE and Sport. Entry level models come fitted with body coloured bumpers, door handles and wing mirrors, air-con, ESP, hill hold assist and a six-speaker audio system with MP3 connectivity.  SE models add 16-inch alloy wheels, dual zone conditioning, front fog lights with cornering function, all-round electric windows and helm-mounted stereo controls. Range-topping Sport upgrades the wheels to 17-inch ‘aroa’ alloys and adds dark green tinted windows, cruise control and a three-spoke helm.
