Besides a thorough revamping of its available versions, the 2012 Volvo S80 now sports turn signals on the outside mirrors, a new 7-inch color screen in the center of the dashboard , genuine wood dashboard trim and Bluetooth stereo streaming. The 2012 Volvo S80 is available in two versions: 3. 2 and T6 AWD.

The 3. 2 base model comes traditional with 17-inch alloy wheels, front and back foglights, heated mirrors, dual-zone automatic conditioning, leather upholstery, performance front seatings with driver memory options, a split-folding back bench with cargo pass-through, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a trip computer, full performance accessories, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping helm, Bluetooth phone and stereo streaming and an eight-speaker audio system with a Six-cd changer, radio, HD radio, an iPod/usb slot and an optional stereo slot. To this the T6 AWD adds all-wheel drive, 18-inch alloy wheels and a sunroof. The latter two features are auxillary for the 3.

The auxillary Premier Plus suite contains front and back parking sensors, keyless entry/ignition and Volvo's Personal Vehicle Communicator. The Climate suite adds heated front and back seatings, headlight washers, rain-sensing wipers and heated windshield washer nozzles. The Technology suite gets you adaptive cruise control, a collision-warning and pedestrian-detection system with automatic braking, lane-departure warning and Driver Alert. T6 models can also be had with a Dynamic suite that contains original 18-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned chassis, adaptive xenon headlights and original aluminum dashboard trim.

From a luxury standpoint, the available Inscription suite ups the ante with luxury leather upholstery, ventilated front seatings, a leather-covered dash and center armrest and genuine wood trim on the helm and shift knob. The Platinum suite adds the contents of the Premier Plus suite with luxury surround-sound stereo, a voice-controlled navigator and a back back-up camera. A blind-spot monitoring system is a stand-alone feature. .
