The 2012 Audi A6 is a midsize luxury sedan available in five versions -- 2. 0T Luxury, 2. 0T Luxury Plus, 3. 0T Luxury, 3. 0T Luxury Plus and 3. 0T Prestige. The numbers denote the motor fitted (a 2. 0-liter turbocharged four or a 3. 0-liter supercharged V6).

The 2. 0T Luxury comes traditional with 17-inch wheels, Audi Drive Select (adjustable modes for steering, throttle and transmission), automatic headlights, heated mirrors, a sunroof, keyless ignition/entry, triple-zone automatic conditioning, eight-way performance front seatings (includes lumbar adjustment), partial leather upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping helm, Bluetooth and a 10-speaker audio system with a CD player, radio and an Ipod interface.

The 2. 0T Luxury Plus adds 18-inch wheels, xenon headlights, front and back parking sensors, Audi's MMI controls interface, a color data screen, updated stereo (with HD radio, a CD changer and a audio server), a voice-activated navigator (with real-time traffic and Google Earth) and Audi Connect (an in-car over-the-air Internet connection).

The 3. 0T Luxury is equipped similarly to the 2. 0T Luxury but adds heated front seatings. The 3. 0T Luxury Plus is equipped similarly to the 2. 0T Luxury Plus. The 3. 0T Prestige adds various 18-inch wheels, adaptive headlights, S line look accents, cornering lights, ambient LED cab lighting, quad-zone conditioning, ventilated front seatings, a power-adjustable helm and a Bose stereo system.

Feature highlights (depending on trim) include LED headlights, the Innovation suite (includes adaptive cruise control, head-up screen, LED headlights, night vision assist, a blind-spot warning system, Audi Pre-sense Plus and power-folding sideview mirrors), the Cold Weather suite (heated front/rear seatings and heated helm) and a 15-speaker Bang and Olufsen surround-sound stereo system. A Sport suite adds a sport-tuned suspension, a sport steering wheel, shift paddles and either 18-inch wheels with all-season tires or 19- or 20-inch wheels with summer tires. There are also different dashboard trim features, including brushed aluminum and natural finish ash wood. .
