Sleek look-and-feel, a high-class dashboard and a lot of of performance combine to make the 2011 BMW Z4 one of the most desirable luxury roadsters available. BMW Z4 Convertible offers the following pros: Smooth and comprehensive engines, quick-folding hardtop, convenient ride, large cargo (with the top up), impressive visibility for a roadster, sharp look-and-feel inside and out. BMW Z4 Convertible drawbacks are: Not as invigorating and involving as some competitors.
The 2011 BMW Z4 is a two-seat retractable-hardtop luxury roadster available in three versions that correspond with motor choice: Sdrive30i, Sdrive35i and Sdrive35is.
Traditional equipment on the Sdrive30i contains 17-inch wheels, adjustable sport driving options (steering, throttle and automatic transmission if applicable), automatic adaptive xenon headlights, automatic wipers, a fully powered retractable hardtop, cruise control, leatherette luxury vinyl upholstery, six-way manually adjustable seatings and a audio system that contains a Single-cd player, optional stereo slot and HD radio. The Sdrive35i gets you a more comprehensive motor, sun-reflective leather upholstery, automatic conditioning and brushed aluminum dashboard trim.
The Sdrive35is gets an even more comprehensive motor, a traditional dual-clutch automated manual transmission, sportier steering and the M Sport suite that is auxillary on the other BMW Z4 trims. This suite contains 18-inch wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, an aerodynamic body kit, increased top speed, a thicker M helm and 10-way manually adjustable sport seatings with performance bolster adjustment.
A regular Sport suite available on the 30i and 35i contains only the suspension, seatings, increased top speed and 18-inch wheels (the 30i sticks with the 17s). The Cold Weather suite adds to all models heated seatings, a heated helm, retractable headlight washers and a cargo pass-through. The Luxury suite adds auto-dimming mirrors, power-adjustable seatings, BMW Assist telematics, Bluetooth and on the 30i, leather upholstery and automatic conditioning. The Luxury Audio suite adds a 14-speaker audio system with two subwoofers, radio and an Ipod/usb adapter. Many of the above suite items are available as stand-alone features, along with Convenience Access keyless entry (push-button start is standard), automatic transmission shift paddles, front and back parking sensors, automatic high beams, a navigator (includes the Idrive controls interface) and a Six-cd/dvd changer. The 35i and 35is can be equipped with 19-inch wheels. .
