Citroen C3 details:
The Citroen C3 displays little of the layout flair for which Citroen was once so famous, but it’s a neat-looking vehicle with its raised roof line and wheel-at-each-corner stance. There is one stand-out option though, and that's the panoramic windscreen which extends well into the roof it ends towards the rear of the front seatings. Fitted to all Citroen C3 variants, apart from the entry-level VT, it opens up the front of the cab brilliantly.

The Citroen C3 is one of the smallest vehicles in its class, so you can't expect a massive amount of cab room, but the back leg space is still disappointing. Even worse, the back bench has been pushed well rear, to open up the cab as much as possible, leading to the rear rest being rather upright. In typical small hatch fashion, the boot isn't that large with the back seatings up, as there is just a 300-litre room with the parcel shelf fitted. However, remove the shelf and drop the rear seatings, and room increase to 1160, litres.

Citroen tends to create its vehicles relatively cheaply, by reducing the class of some of the trim so it can fit more traditional equipment. Despite higher class trim than before, the new Citroen C3 still gets a fair amount of traditional kit. While the entry-level VT isn't loaded with equipment, it does get a CD player with optional input and helm-mounted controls, scented air freshener, front electric windows and electrically adjustable door mirrors. Move up just one level, to the VTR+, and cruise control, front fog lights, alloy wheels and air-con become traditional equipment.
