The all-new 2012 Fisker Karma expands what a plug-in hybrid can be, as it promises not only fuel economy but also exclusivity, luxury and performance. Fisker Karma Sedan offers the following pros: Plug-in-hybrid fuel efficiency; sharp handling; head-turning style; earth-friendly cab materials. Fisker Karma Sedan drawbacks are: Stiff ride; unrefined audio from gasoline generator engine; tiny trunk; only four seats; poor rearward visibility.
The 2012 Fisker Karma is a big 4-door luxury sedan that comes in three versions: Ecostandard, Ecosport and Ecochic.
Traditional equipment on the Ecostandard contains 22-inch alloy wheels, Brembo high-performance brakes, xenon headlights, keyless ignition/entry, back parking sensors, a solar panel roof, heated mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic conditioning, cruise control, a performance tilt-and-telescoping helm, six-way performance front seatings (with performance lumbar), heated front and back seatings, leatherette luxury vinyl upholstery, real wood cab accents, a trip computer, Bluetooth and an eight-speaker audio system with radio, an optional stereo slot and an Ipod/usb stereo interface.
The Ecosport adds leather upholstery, a navigator, a rearview camera and an updated stereo system with 10 speakers. The Ecochic features all that as well as 100-percent-recycled suede upholstery and wood trim sourced from California wildfires. .
