The 2012 Mercedes-Benz Gl-class is a seven-passenger big luxury SUV available in three versions that correspond to engine: GL350 Bluetec, GL450 and GL550.

The GL350 Bluetec and GL450 both come traditional with a self-leveling air suspension, automatic headlights, LED running lamps, automatic wipers, performance third-row quarter-windows, a sunroof, cruise control, dual-zone automatic conditioning, back air-conditioning controls, heated 10-way performance front seatings (with four-way lumbar adjustment), MB Tex luxury vinyl upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping helm, the Mercedes COMAND controls interface, Bluetooth, Mercedes mbrace emergency communications system and an eight-speaker audio system with a Six-cd changer and an optional stereo slot. The Luxury 1 suite adds a rearview camera, power-folding and auto-dimming mirrors, a performance liftgate, a performance passenger bench, front bench memory functions, a performance tilt-and-telescoping helm, a navigation system, an Ipod/usb stereo interface, radio and HD radio. The Luxury 2 suite contains all the above equipment and adds keyless ignition/entry (available separately) and an 11-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound stereo system. The Full Leather suite adds leather upholstery, updated head restraints and dashboard ambient lighting. The Lighting suite adds self-cleaning and adaptive bi-xenon headlamps.

Stand-alone features on the GL350 and GL450 include parking sensors, a blind-spot warning system, running boards, heated and ventilated front seatings, heated back seatings and three-zone automatic conditioning.

The GL550 contains all of the above auxillary items as traditional equipment.

Features available on all Mercedes-Benz Gl-class models include a trailer hitch, a heated helm and a rear-seat entertainment system. .
