Mercedes-Benz launched official images and data of the all-new Mercedes-Benz Glk-class sport utility car. The versatile SUV will debut at Auto China in Beijing on Sunday, April 20, and make its U. dealer showroom debut in January 2009 as a 2010 model.

Powered by a 268-horsepower, 3. 5-liter V6 motor the 2010MY Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 will form the basis of the U. lineup, and will be provided in both 4MATIC and two-wheel-drive versions, riding on traditional 19-inch 10-spoke wheels with 235/50 tires. The GLK features a 108. 5-inch wheelbase and boasts original layout language which sets it apart from the rest of the highly successful Mercedes-Benz family of Suvs that contains the M-class (which spurred the trend toward more car-like Suvs), the larger Gl-class, the crossover R-class and the iconic G-class.

Showcasing bold look layout, generous trunk capacity and available 4MATIC all-wheel-drive, the GLK 350 features the ideal balance of look-and-feel, versatility and performance. The 2010 Mercedes-Benz Glk-class will be manufactured exclusively at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen, Germany.
