Suzuki SX4 details:
While the 2011 Suzuki SX4 still remains a good value, a number of newer and more enticing compact sedan and hatchback rivals make it harder to recommend. Suzuki SX4 Hatchback offers the following pros: Hatchback model's low-cost AWD system; generous trunk capacity; long powertrain warranty; navigator traditional on higher versions. Suzuki SX4 Hatchback drawbacks are: Awkward driving position; so-so cab materials; limited fuel range of AWD model; dizzying array of versions.

The 2011 Suzuki SX4 is a compact vehicle available in sedan and 4-door hatchback body styles. The sedans and the "sportback" version of the hatchback are front-wheel-drive only, while the "crossover" hatchback is only provided with all-wheel drive.

The Suzuki SX4 sedan is broken down into base, LE, Anniversary Edition, Sport S, Sport SE and Sport GTS versions. The base model comes with 15-inch metal wheels, full performance accessories, a trip computer, a height-adjustable driver bench, 60/40-split-folding back seatbacks and a tilt-only helm. The LE adds air-conditioning and a four-speaker audio system with a CD player and an optional stereo input slot. The new Anniversary Edition is the best equipped of the LE models with 17-inch alloy wheels, back disc brakes, a continuously variable transmission (CVT), cruise control and a leather-wrapped helm with paddle shifters and stereo controls.

The Suzuki SX4 Sport S starts with all the traditional features found on the midrange LE sedan and then grafts on a sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, an aero body kit, keyless entry and an integrated Garmin navigator with real-time traffic and other live data. The SE adds the LE Anniversary Edition's extra equipment plus front foglights. The top-of-the-line GTS model adds keyless entry/starting, automatic conditioning, Bluetooth (optional on the other Sport trims) and an updated seven-speaker stereo system with a Six-cd changer. Keyless ignition/entry is auxillary on the GTS.

The Suzuki SX4 Sportback is available in two versions that include essentially the same equipment as the Anniversary Edition LE sedan, with the exception of the CVT. The differences between the Sportback base model and the Tech version are small, with the Tech getting a larger back spoiler and the navigator.

The Suzuki SX4 Crossover comes in base, Luxury and Tech Value Suite. The base model starts with the midrange LE sedan's traditional features and adds all-wheel-drive, 16-inch metal wheels and a roof rack. The Luxury trim adds the CVT, cruise control and a leather-wrapped helm with stereo controls. The Technology Value suite contains 16-inch alloy wheels, heated front seatings, foglights and the navigation system. Bluetooth is auxillary. .
