The 2012 Toyota Yaris is a subcompact economy vehicle available as either a two- or 4-door hatchback. The L and LE trims are provided in both these configurations, while the sporty SE trim is provided only as a 4-door.

Traditional features on the L include 15-inch metal wheels, an intermittent front mono-arm windshield wiper, a back windshield wiper, performance door locks, air-conditioning, four-way-adjustable front seatings, a tilt helm, a trip computer, a fold-down back seat bench, a trunk cover and a four-speaker CD player with an optional stereo slot, a USB stereo interface and radio.

With the LE, you also get performance windows, remote keyless entry, a six-way-adjustable driver bench, optional steering-wheel-mounted stereo controls, updated dashboard trim, a 60/40-split fold-down back bench, Bluetooth stereo and phone connectivity, and an updated six-speaker audio system with HD radio. Those who opt for the SE trim get a sport-tuned suspension, 16-inch alloy wheels, performance tires, four-wheel disc brakes, a original grille, foglamps, cruise control, a leather-trimmed helm and updated cloth upholstery.

Cruise control is the only feature provided on the Toyota Yaris, and it's available solely on the LE trim. .
